Hello

is there an alternative part number or say part from Alfa etc for the door mirror glass? Or anyone point me to where I can get a adhesive one that fits the GT model
Thanks

Unfortunately not as some are chromatic which are much more expensive

Oh ****, I’ve got one of those on the Merc, it’s gradually misting over and they’re £150 for the glass. You can put the standard one on instead. The glass is a contained unit so you could do the same on the GT if you don’t want the tint.

They are electro chromatic so for £50 is actually descent value
Jeepers. Well one of mine started falling out, and I stuck it back on to the heater element using superglue. Worked fine and that was 3 years ago. Glad I saved it!

£55 plus shipping plus vat for piece of mirror glass? Come on!
I don't have an answer to the OP, but that es price is disgusting.

I remember replacing my E92 M3 one once and seem to remember it was something ridiculous like £160. Fast car tax at its finest

Hi, thread revival here! The Alfa 159 glass worked a treat, thanks alot guys! Now my GTS A/C compressor has packed up! Anyone know if the Alfa 159 A)C compressor or any other compressor will fit? Hate paying Maserati tax when it's just the same part as another car. Thanks

What’s wrong with your current compressor? Has it completely stopped working? I’ve successfully repaired mine with a £159 clutch set - but my problem was that the pulley bearings had worn out. Some have had long term luck with Hungarian copies (for around £600) from Compressor Express. The mountings and casing for the GT and QP are unique, even though the innards are generic - they are made by Delphi who make them for all sorts of brands.

Thanks for the reply mate. Basically what's happened with mine is the bolt that holds the clutch on sheered off and the clutch fell off. I still have the clutch, but don't know if I can get a new bolt and fit it back on? Is this what happened to yours?

It seems unlikely to me that the bolt would have sheared unless something was stopping it rotating, putting strain on it. Does the compressor shaft still rotate freely? Seems most likely that it seized or partially seized and the bolt sheared because of that to me.
