I don't get recreations, if you want a classic buy one, not a modern version of an old car.

Re-creations are always an emotive issue. Before I built the Tipo, I genuinely considered buying a genuine '250f'. A few things however, put me off: Its not road legal, does 8MPG, no starter motor, parts can be a 'tad' expensive, and not very practical for the Sainsburys run. Oh, and the not so small matter of £3 million for a nice one, "never raced or rallied", you know the thing. Whereas the Tipo ticks all the boxes, I can even fit One french stick, approx two kilos of chicken,and 4 bottles of beer in it. I know its not the real thing, but its useable, and great fun, and, (in my opinion) looks the part.

Could not argue with you there Andy, but Im sure you could fit a bit of cheese in there to, to go with the bread and beer

Ahh, you're right. A small amount of cheese could be accomodated. have to be careful though, with the heat. Camenbert, for example, could get a little "runny".
