But.... Today I did get invited to the UK launch event on the 25th of May so maybe Maserati GB read this board. Its an evening event in Central London on the 26th of May. I'll avoid the IT nerds I promise.

Chatting to a Maserati Salesperson from DL yesterday and he confirmed that Italy had sent a note stating that the UK will definitely not be getting a Petrol Levante from launch or anytime soon.

I told him this was surely an oversight but he assured me that only 3% of Petrol Cars account for all sales of SUV in the UK so it is a futile exercise.

For the Macan its about 30% which is more relevant. Prob also for RR Sport. Missed opportunity but the cost of developing the 4 wheel drive petrol for RHD seems to prohibitive at the moment.

I have a Centennial MC Stradale which will go if I like the Levante, I've never owned 4 X 4. I still have my deposit on the Alfieri ......I think it's over 2 years now
