Wheeler Dealers were the first of the auto programmes to do one, they picked it up for about $14k dollars. It was in pretty good nick.
For the Love of Cars did one and so did Berni and now some 4 years on they have more than doubled in value.
As the TR7/8 thread has proved, British cars of that era are very Marmite.
Me, always loved them and glad they have finally shaken that "Back to the Future" tag and are on the rise massively, so a big thumbs up from me.

Is that like saying the AC cobra is a british car then as body and chassis was of british design. It's just carol shelby put a yank v8 in it.The DMC Delorean was arguably a British Car. OK JD and his company were US based but the chassis and tub was by Lotus, built in the UK and funded with British government money.
Engine was a V6 Peugeot-Renault-Volvo (PRV) modified from the standard 2.7 litre to 2.85 litre.
