Is this in the actual showroom or on their website- I can’t see anything and can only find their Bristol branch on eBay...So DL has reduced its spares stock and merchandise already... i was hoping for a fire sale, but alas no.
Remaining stock will be on their ebay pages soon.
So - it has the looks, the sound and the smell. And it's not worth a lot. I'd say that's all the reasons you need to keep it!
Are you talking about fossil-fuel slurping cars in particular, Bob, or the GTS in general?
Indeed appropriate extrapolation! I do wonder if sports cars will be socially unacceptable quite soon as witnessed by collapsing sales. The irony is that top line BEVs are very fast so they will suffer the same criticism in due course until we are all driving the sort of cars they will start selling in Curry’s.
Yeah, it does seem that way at times, Bob. Equally, many people enjoy seeing the kind of cars we drive. Well, some do, some don’t notice and a small minority are opposed. Still, I stand by my position that a school-run Mum (or Dad) chucks out more shite annually from their diesel estate than most of us do with our cars.
Let me just invent a statistic: a family holiday to Porta de la Forgettable chucks out more carbon than 10 irresponsible cars like what we’ve got do in a year. Plausible?
What a Con Carbon Credits are or were.
I got sucked into putting my private pension fund into one of those through a reputable organisation the London and Colonial who have only just stopped chasing me for fees on a fund worthless for several years.
Even the London Police Action Fraud Squad can't sort it out.
If its too good to be true and all that.Early adopter!
If its too good to be true and all that.
Broke all my own rules and Karma a long time coming Bob.
Got my letter from DL Swindon today. To be honest, I've only been there once to acquire and have a new key coded. A mighty impressive dealership and was given unrestricted access to the upstairs showroom, which was amazing.
I'll continue to use the independent Italian specialists in Cricklade for my servicing and MoT's, as they've done a superb job on two occasions for me now.
And do they have the kit to diagnose and reset a GT?Who are the independent Italian specialists in Cricklade???
This is the one key point that so many new modern supercars owners seem to be missing these days to their financial loss. All these new modern supercars are too fast for the road. They actually offer less enjoyment at realistic/sensible/legal speeds. Often also with less aural pleasure as well.Still debating that. The world has moved on, it is no longer fast so I need to rely on it's looks, sound and smell but it's getting old and tired and is not worth a lot now.
