government needs to stop pandering to these protesters it's getting fecking ridiculous now with all this statue thing it's simply gobsmacking this is actually happening

I think the police are using the tactic of hoping it will blow itself out similar to the Greta fiasco :frusty5:..........................................wrong tactic this time , it needs a heavier response and show of Govenment both left and right support that violence and subversive tactics will not be tolerated for any cause, there are democratic processes for those kind of changes and they must be followed ................................Corbyns brother is part and parcel of the "They who ever they are people " apparently down in Milton Keynes yesterday spouting all kinds of radical shiite , i'll be looking for my Glock if he comes down again

Found this article quite interested. I went to school in the 90s and early 2000s and was only taught about trans-atlantic slavery.

For anyone that knows a little about this subject , and i consider myself to be one of those , its so blindingly obvious that selective history is being used to distort the whole facts to further an undelying agenda ......................

I think we shouldnt forget that slavery and people trafficking is around today, affecting all ethnicities, every community and every country across the world. TBH this is where the focus needs to be channelled, in stopping this despicable trade now. Another good reason not to forget history IMHO.

The top cop ‘taking a knee’ should be sacked. What he does in his own time in civvies is his business, what he does on duty in uniform, isn’t. He’s there to protect life and property, not display bias to one side or the other. Pandering to feckless w*nkers with an agenda Is certainly not the way forward. I can’t believe the hard left is getting traction through doing sh!t like this.

I'm somewhat bemused by the statue toppling fad that has hit the streets of London. To be sure, down here in Oz we're also seeing countless acts of rampant ****wittery.... But am i right in saying that there in the UK, no police force is willing to make arrests to prevent statues being brought down en masse... Or to punish those who've done so?

If that is the case... And presumably there is no explicit code by which one can discern a morally repugnant statue from one that is not.... So what is to stop the lot of you from parking your Quattroporte at the feet of said statue, ripping it from its foundations and towing it home?

Furthermore, i don't presume any council is in a hurry to dispose of these items appropriately, so can you not fill your lush country estates with statues collected from the length and breadth of the country.

Surely once sanity returns they'll be worth quite a bit....

Hmmm... this would look nice as a water feature in the garden and Bristol are keen to get rid of some street art!

Imagine Cpt Cook landing in NZ.
Confronted by a Maori leader covered in tattoos whose tradition is to get as close as possible face to face and stick his tongue out, shout things and dance similar to 'The Haka', many more Maoris than Cook's shore compliment.
Must have been scary
