Just checked in across the road and Brian does at least appear to be engaged in this 'conversation', although I'm not sure what a 'normal' member is? There are shed loads of links over there to MaseratiLife, etc so why the problem with SportsMaserati?

I don't recall having had the need to cross-post, and if I did I'd just open a couple of tabs and cut & paste, but on this point I've suggested Brian might clarify the T&C's, as these appear to infer content copyright is the property of MF? Need to have clarification on cross-posts relating to sponsors and also naming/shaming.

I suspect that most owners are S/E or have their own businesses or are affiliated to a business , but none that i know or have known are wanting to promote the services or tout their business on the forums ( other than sponsors ) , what Brian explained to me quite clearly in his email with my strike two was that Anyone affilliated with any commercial entity (his words) had to run their posts by him first and that is still the way it reads to me thats any one who works for a living , bit of a palava if you ask me , i'll only bendover so far untill it hurts heheh

Hmm, Although no genius, I do at least afford myself a modicum of intelligence and my question was put in such a way as to question whether the moniker of 'normal member' is being applied even-handedly over there, as it appears it isn't. As stated above, I did read through the T&C's and it quotes the following..

'Could non-commercial members kindly check first with admin before posting promotional materials on behalf of other commercial entities/forums.'

Is posting a link to MaseratiLife a promotion of that site? well to one extent or another, of course it is. Is posting a link to Formula Dynamics a promotion of that site, well yes it definitely is.

Hence my apparently dim-witted question.

Should you not have an 18 certificate and a panic button for those of a delicate disposition?

this thread is getting all complicated again. all i'm trying to get to is a situation where if a certain subject is being discussed by inhabitants of one forum, it can be linked to and taken up on another fairly seemlessly elsewhere. when i was recounting the peculiarities of my recent sale it occurred to me how ridiculous it is to have to copy and paste it somewhere else just to reach the same members that would see it anyway. it pretty much sums up the situation when i can type in the word ******** but not *********************

Rob, it aint worth bothering with..It takes a 2nd to copy and paste and put on both forums I'm sure there are people who don't frequent both....more on the MF I would imagine.
