This forum was born not because we wanted to break away from our friends across the road but because it was getting to the point that some of us were afraid to post for fear of retribution and being repremanded like a naughty schoolboy. Of course there must be rules and respect to others but not to the point of daily ticking offs and even bans for trivial little comments which would not cause offence to any right minded individual.

No doubt one day we may have to exercise our position as moderators but to date thankfully that has not been the case. We would rather live as one happy family and to share friendships and of course our love of Maseratis and other exotic cars than to spend our time picking stupid petty fights.

Since forming Sportsmaserati we have tried to act in a civil way and to maintain some sort of relationship with our neighbours but when one of our members posts an upcoming event at the Ace Cafe which was purely done for the benefit of all Maserati owners, and the post is promptly taken down by their management, I think it is a bit rich to complain there is no room for two forums. We would have liked nothing better than to live in harmony.

We have an open relationship with Petrolhead Nivrana where we allow them to post their events and no doubt they would do the same for us so why the problem with Maseratiforum. I think that one act of spite on their part sums up why there was a necessity for a new forum and why Sportsmaserai will be here many years to come .......AMEN

I love our new home. I have some good friends here, I don't feel intimidated, I can pretty well express whatever I like and so far we all live in perfect harmony. Posting here is how it should have been across the road instead of being answerable to the headmaster for every silly dumb thing that happens. Yes we have moderators and rules but we would rather share a joke and and share our love of Italian exotic cars than to play stupid politics.
