Coupe door mirror glass RH & LH

Hi Guys,

I have the replacement door mirror glass for both RH (980000948) and LH (980000947) will fit 3200, 4200 or GS.

Glass is in very good condition BUT the heater pads do not work (which is why I have replaced them).

So these would be great for anyone who keeps their car in a garage / uses it during the summer / lives in a hotter country than the UK!

The replacements cost me £36 each so are these worth £10 each (plus postage) to anyone?

Simple to swap, just clips directly onto the motor base in the mirror casing once the existing glass has been removed.

Regards

-David-

Cyclist smashed my drivers side mirror :(
Long shot but would you still have these?

I've checked with eurospares, David Askew, HR Owen and a few other randoms but no one has it in stock and they have to order from the factory in Italy...

Yes an 166 part will work.

I bought two complete Alfa 166 mirrors in case of disaster, 40 quid for the pair.

Sure, I'm hoping it's just a case of connecting the wire and clipping it on though :)

Not exactly.....

If memory serves when I did mine (and forgot the photos) door card has to come off to get to the mounting bolts

Just use a flat wide blade to leaver the mirror out from the bottom of the glass, it just pops out but watch it does not fly off into your face. The wires just clip onto the spades attached to the rear of the glass.

...and there are hook tabs, about 3 of them. If you push the glass into the housing at the hinge end, you can look underneath and see the tabs.

Use a flat blade screwdriver and look at your new one to get an idea of how it fixes.

Remember you have to remove the heater wires so don't yank it until you have done this.

Does anyone know of replacement part number for one to fit a 06 Quattroporte? My RHS has gone cloudy/yellow!

Thread resurrection.
Need new glass for drivers side mirror on my 2006 QP.
Smashed on holiday, stupidly discarded the glass + backing plate.

Anything better than £85 from maserati (mirror only).
