Hi Enzo, thanks for the reference number. The stamp would help trace it back to the Brembo reference I think. Don't suppose you have any details on your rears? Are these new also? Regards, Miles.

No problem, will get the front disk ref tomorrow and post...

I might be able to get the ref off the rears as well, they were not changed at the last service, but look to be in good condition so should be possible,

Regards,

Enzo.

(PS, will take the spacer off at the same time and send it to you together with the bolts)

Front disks are stamped on the rim as follows:

00 07B AA MIN TH 1.18 1" = 30mm BREMBO 184652 7B

Sorry could not see any numbers on the rear ones,

Regards,

Enzo.

Ok Enz...so next step is to see if they are an exact match for the 4200/3200s.......who can make a definitive call on that?

see, to recall having this conversation with Roberto at Grimaldi. Not certain they are identical, but suspect they would fit. Maybe it is the offset that is a tiny bit different, meaning the disk would not be centred inside caliper?

Have you got these ebay units?

Just seen the price and might take a punt at £140 + p&p the pair instead of £403.32 + postage on eurospares 3200 AC items.

Why not.....so should we ask them if the can do OEM exact equivalents for the 3200s/4200s....the brakes technology used for the 3200s goes back to 1997/8...so surely they can make them?

What you doing with the old disks ? these seem to be standard across 3200/4200, and also the GS?
Think I have contact for some used calipers to suit my 3200 (red ones) :D

Loz.....so they can make exact OEM equivalents fronts discs?

Secondly, can you drill already made discs and will they be exactly same as OEMs in effect and usage?

Thirdly, if you put on the Brembo 550 discs which are exactly(?) the same size........even though they are smooth faced, can you use the low dust pads which offset the need for drilled discs....aka....same performance and safety?
