not really the right forum for an unbiased opinion? The Maserati is all round better engineered than these cars, the american V8s will all be long stroke i think so you get that nice sound we all love in the movies, but an engine with poor rev range. The Maserati, especially the older ones are nicely understated and have class, the american cars are more brash and noisy, and the styling reflects this. both are fun to drive in different ways, and if you have the money buy one of each best way to solve it. I remember having an old T-bird wouldnt corner but sounded good and would wheel spin in blink of an eye, and was fun to drive, but on any thing but a straight dry road would loose in a race to my 3200 any time. all these cars have a bit of "look at me", and all have more power than you will be able to use, its really a question of taste i suspect, since you are not going to race in any of them its all just for the fun of it, or we would all be driving a prius.
