Yep, could well be. I did wonder what that 08 GS in ADG had been doing for a year. And logic would suggest that a GS built in 06 could be registered as a 07.

I've never really thought about it but, all things being equal, is an LE worth more than a non-LE?
There is actually at least one 09 GS around too....sat somewhere unreqistered for 2 years, presumably.

As for the LE non-LE question, I would say it makes not a jot of difference IF the spec is the same. The reason I steered away from a non-LE was that I wanted park sensors, heated seats and A200 and I didnt come across any with each and not an LE.

I always wanted leather but is techno cloth bad? When these cars become collectable i can see the cloth being the one to go for....
I've said that before too Dem, and I think you're right. Its not on any other car (as Andy says, there's a few pairs of trainers with it, but not cars :)) and I think it might well become the spec to have. As Andy also says, I think it looks OK with the right colour car. Grigio Touring looks nice with it IMO.

IMO there is nothing wrong with Techno Cloth, after looking at GS's for sale at dealers, i notice the leather is quite thin and does show faint cracks quite easily. I would buy a GS with Tech Cloth.

Those options on a GS is almost an LE spec just without leather right??

No, there are other things in the LE Pack too. Full list of LE spec is:

CALR – Red brake callipers
CDCH – Cd changer
RIM6 19” Trofeo mercury grey alloys
HTME – Front seats with heating and drivers memory
INTL – Full leather interior
MIR1 – Electro chromatic rear view mirror
GRL3 - Black mesh grill
Saetta Logo with red accents
XENO – Xenon headlights and washing system
A200 – Auditorium 200 hifi system
PARK – Rear parking sensors.

Very observant Adam you are indeed correct, they split the Hyde and use both sides, this gives it a softer feel but is ultimately a cost saving exercise.

Going from a 3200 to a GS this was the only area I was disappointed. In the 3200 it was leather (thick) everywhere, no wonder they never made any money. On the GS I instantly noticed the use of PVC (although very good quality and match) on all the non touch items but felt it was tight not to use it on the dash.

Mike Roberts told me about the leather being split.

On a contrast my Alfa GT has incredibly thick leather on the face of the seats.

Parking sensors...must have Adam...........Thats saying you are not confident about your driving.....Never bothered me not having parking sensors...

well i just would not want to scratch those bumpers and fork out a few hundred £'s for a re paint.

Slim, to fit Xenons properly you need self levelling headlamps. I don't know if the halogen equipped cars have them. If they do you can get xenon bulbs, igniters etc from Evil-bay. They are usually fitted to the dip beam as they do take a little time to get to full brightness. If you get the Maserati bits from Eurospares, it will cost you a fortune. The bulbs are over £120 each IIRC.

Be confident in your ability young man.......

Dem, to be honest I can understand you wanting them in London...All those tight places you have to park.

I guess I dont get the xenons :( ...noob question but can they be retro fitted?

I have a set of Zennon ignition packs and bulbs off a spare set of headlights ive had for ages if your serious we can deal , the legal requirement for zennons is to have headlight washers aswell , but many have fitted them without the washer units

.

My Orange one did! I can take or leave the A200, the OEM stereo in my Kia is better - I jest not.
