Think I am morphing into a Tory. Wait until my mates here that!
I actually thought Phil's stab at it was ok and was turned off completely by the other one that does not have a reflection.
However the problem with both sides are the women on their respective teams. They are really evil!

I hate politics for the very reason that we won’t see or feel the benefit of these “initiatives “.

Do we think a few hundred million £££££ is going to make a noticeable impact on the quality of our roads ....... No

Do we think a few hundred million will address the mental health crisis ........ No

It’s all bull$hite .......... or more likely smoke and mirrors !!

I’ll carry on voting Tory (just like my parents did) and to keep the mad man that is Jeremy Corbin out, but I fear not a lot will change.

I even doubt we will feel the effects positively or otherwise on Brexit or even notice it’s happened (or not happened - most likely).

Having said that, they have not abolished entrepreneurs tax relief so (fingers crossed ) all is good.

I have a theory that the point of government is to maintain the status quo.
The last government to do anything radical was Thatcher and the one before that was Atlee All the others have just carried on unless they are forced into change like Brexit

I’m a socialist so perhaps not the most common type here, not sure about Corbyn but he is principled and stuck with his beliefs right or wrong throuought his career which is more than can be said of May et al, who change like the wind.

Rees Mogg can do one!

The problem with Corbyn’s principles is they are a throwback to the time we lit fires with bits of flint. He was a w4nker, still is a w4nker and always will be a w4nker. However, the real problem is his puppeteers; the forces lurking behind him waiting for their chance at power. If they get in, Corbyn will be drop-kicked back from whence he came and the rabid left will re-emerge and f*ck us up the chuff.

We should ban politics on here. Never see any point to it.

That's a reasonable assessment of politics, Dicky.

I'm just grateful to not live in most other countries. The UK is almost certainly in the top quartile of not-shite places to live, however much we like to scream and moan.

Still believe we are up amongst the best 3-4 countries in the world; but politics brings out the worst in people. Basically it can only be discussed with those likeminded or it descends into a bitter argument.

Politics on a car forum - rarely a good mix. This one is much better than most in that regard though. Personally, I prefer to keep it about cars.
