Brexit Deal

From Huff Post:

“Exclusive: YouGov Poll Reveals 64% Want Second Brexit Referendum"

"Research commissioned by campaigners Hope Not Hate also showed 11% lead for Remain.”

It also says:

“The YouGov poll of 1,660 Brits also underlined the depth of negativity associated with Brexit, with 58% pessimistic about the future and 62% saying Brexit is feeding prejudice and division. “

Now, according to the Office for National Statistics, “The total number of UK Parliamentary electors in December 2017 was 46,148,000” so the YouGov poll was based on the opinion of 0.0035 of 1% of the electorate!

I’m not sure who is the most stupid here; the leader writers, or me for bothering with it at this time of day? Like Confucius said “It makes you fink, dunnit?”

I would imagine very close to 100%. Just like everyone else.

Are you serious? Never correct, some will know they are just there because they could not hold down a normal job.
And what about that stupid woman, not Mrs May, that MP for Peterborough who thought it was OK to try and lie their way through a speeding ticket saying she was not driving. What a loser, how come someone like that b.tch got into office. Throw her in the Tower I say!

Really? Have you ever met many people that look in the mirror and go 'Yeah, you know, I'm not doing a good job here. I should go do something else'

No I havn't met any and I don't think I want to either.
There are people that know they are just milking the job without putting in the effort. You know it and so do I.

You've not heard of imposter syndrome? A degree of self-doubt and the ambition to continuously improve is essential to avoid complacency.

Mind you, I agree that it's not apparent if (m)any of our elected MPs suffer too much from imposter syndrome!

I suffer from it greatly, but it's a very different thing from the original suggestion.

WoW 49 pages already...

My 2p is that the MPs have no clue... the government and opposition are literally killing the little credibility they had left with voters.

The company I work for has already invested £20m+ is making plans post brexit and still have 0 visibility to what the government will do / allow...
Tens of thousands of businesses in the UK will wake up in March w a last minute knee jerk list of Brexit requirements they have to implement right away.
Those Westminster folks aren’t different from the Brussels folks in the end.
The saying that goes like that: “Those who can’t do, teach” should actually say “Those who can’t do, teach or govern”

Also for the record - Europe has no incentives to give the UK a good deal... those who believe otherwise are short sighted or delusive

After Brexit we’ll go back to proper British Christmases, none of that European nonsense; no Christmas trees, no St Nicholas, no reindeer, no German markets, no Brussels sprouts.

Kids will love putting their presents under a Yule log.
