Having been to Iceland, I can confirm that there are some spectacular looking women.
However, like everywhere, there are also quite a few munters.

Same as everywhere really.

Thanks Mark I will approach subject tonight and see if I can get a majority vote to go.........Must be all that fresh air up there.

If it doesn’t occur it’s a Brexit hijack however you want to portray it.

A clock deliberately wound down to a point where we’re apparantly unprepared for a deal that was never going to happen in the first place.....
Or even required.
Leave meant leave......

And it was democratically voted in by the largest vote in British History

https://www.standard.co.uk/comment/...sh-vote-in-history-for-anything-a3281496.html

Respect the result.

As you said respect the result. And as the vote was a referendum, and not legally binding.
You don't have to follow it.

Therefore as a democracy we employ our MP's to make decisions like this for us. And if they think it's a sh*t idea, and staying is better for the country, then we stay.
That's why we vote for our MP's.

As you say, respect the result. Even if you don't like it.

I've heard Latvia is the place to go for good-looking women.
However, they are a tall bunch, so not much good for you Andy! :p:p:p

David Davis and of course Theresa May were never up to the task of negotiating with the EU. The UK was utterly out manoeuvred. I can’t imagine Thatcher allowing it to have happened.
As detached as Jacob Rees-Mogg is, at least if he had been negotiating, the EU would know he would never give in.
But in a nutshell this was always going to be square peg in a round hole since the referendum two and half years ago.
Just my humble opinion of course!

If you're going that route again , gentlemen !
In Iceland, they use an app for dating. It worls like this. They aare all so closely related it is there to show prospective couples how close to their father/mother/brother/sister they are, before something *silly* happens...

...speaking of silly, Brexit. Seamless, right ?!?! :worried1:

Geoff those mps and the PM at the time agreed to a referendum.

Geoff they said (politicians) that they would enforce the result.
They lost.

That’s why even a remainer like May said “leave means leave”. At least she pretends to respect the result whilst she negotiated a “remain indefinitely” deal.

What don’t you comprehend about that and think of the implications for any vote in anything from now and evermore.

You shouldn’t be angry with those that voted leave. You should be angry with the politicians and remainers that couldn’t make the case for remaining as decisively as you feel it was.

Agree.
This wasn’t about negotiating, it was about declaring a “leave position” 2 years ago and preparing the country for it....leaving Europe to chase us for a deal....and 37billion.

Singapore for me. 15% tax, good climate, great food and a non-elected government which does a pretty good job running the place.

I'm sick of all this shrill wailing, weeping, and hand-wringing angst. It's ********. Whether you see value in being part of Europe or not, it's ******* ********.

Politicians can "say" whatever they like.
However, the law is what matters.

If something is not legally binding, you don't have to do it.

If the MP's decide that Brexit with a deal, no deal, or no Brexit is the best decision for the country, then that is what will happen.

Shouting and ranting about "the people decided" and "out means out" won't make a jot of difference, what the MP's decide is what will happen as that is the basis of democracy. We vote for MP's to make these decisions. If you don't like the decisions they make, you vote them out at the next election.

As for being angry, I am anything but. Those who voted leave have their opinion, rightly or wrongly and those who remain also have theirs.
I am also fully aware of the implication of any vote, mine and thousands of others businesses are counting on the right decisions being made.
Thus far none have been and it's been a right royal balls up!

I guess in your line of business an leave vote is what you want as the stock market will tank and gold prices will rocket.
Everyone has their own self interest in the debate..

Geoff we all voted and a decision was made rightly or wrongly. There is never a right decision. Someone is always on the opposite side,

As for
“I guess in your line of business an leave vote is what you want as the stock market will tank and gold prices will rocket”

Are you kidding me?
the uk govt has now started threatening banking chaos

You clearly don’t understand what Gold is, or indeed what democracy is.

Further, in my line of business I know more than most what is going down just now. I have an interest in that. I would suggest that you get acquainted.
