When I got the Ghibli price list I was surprised at how light the standard spec was. In fact it would not surprise me if at transaction prices with like for like spec, a QP V6 is a similar price to a Ghibli V6S.

For you guys that like sound surely the best way is always just to fit your own stuff?

That's what I have done before.

However, as long as there are tone controls and/or bass boost I can normally find a way of getting decent sound out of any ICE these days. There aren't many cars with bad systems.

My Kia Picanto, which was just 6 grand new, actually has an excellent system. In contrast, I found the Auditorium 200 in my (rather more expensive) GranSport a little disappointing.

Looks rather like an embedded DNLA client in a wireless box with re-encoding?
C

Yup it's a uPNP/DNLA receiver, it's fairly unique and will work hand in hand with any other upnp/dnla presentation or controller devices/software

I would actually go for that option. Cant stand a cruddy sound system and then cant bare the thought of an aftermarket person cutting up my new car.

The current Bose system on my Maserati is just about tolerable. The one in my previous car (BMW) was really really bad. If they had the B&W option when I bought my GTS I would have definitely gone for it. Good that they are offering something better than the Bose.

B&W don't make rubbish unlike the p!ss poor effort Bose made with the GT.

I would fork out the extra for it especially if I went for the diesel.

Demonstrator arrives Dick Lovett in November ..... They really expect that 9/10 cars sold will be diesels and so only diesel demonstrators until January ........ Wow ......
