It’s funny how a lot of the calipers are the same brembo stuff for different manufacturers, but you cannot beat a Porsche setup. When you really want to stop, close your eyes so they don’t end up on your cheeks....
Agreed
I have a cayenne turbo and touraeg with same brakes , the Porsche stops or at least feels like it does, better and faster as its more stable I think, not nose dive, feeling of weight transfer

I was in the garage on Saturday morning , some guy was dropping an Audi S3 off , both front caliper sliders seized and new pads being fitted , I heard him say fit some decent pads , Looked at his tyres which looked new but a brand I'd never heard of , £200 a set on ebay , stopping power will be the least of his problems as he's sliding towards the ditch

Never ceases to amaze me, people spend thousands on performance cars then skimp on the only contact between you and the road..... I have a mate with a Golf which has all sorts of performance mods and he bangs on about cheap tyres being exactly the same as a decent brand, black and round is all he cares about.

I think in some people heads they forget what new decent brands tyres are like, as when they wear through the decent tyres the car came with and put on cheap stuff, the new cheap brand probably gives at least as good grip as the worn out possibly hard rubber of the original tyres.
I had two identical saab aero estates, one I'd always put falken on and was reasonably happy until I bought an identical car for the wife which had decent Michelin ps4 on. Her car was so much better on grip , noise, and less torque steer
