no this is how they were when I got them, the wheels are ball polished (I think thats what there refered to) and dark grey inside.

I need to take pics of cars for my charity job, so still learning the setup and angels

great pictures of great cars.

I start with te 350D - great camera and better than my new one some times, (still have this with lenses and bits and bobs) but now have Nikon D300, maily because it can take about 8 shots a second which I wanted for when at motor sports, but found out I need a better lense which is about £2k-£3k - so that's out. should have gone for a cannon, lot more choices in lenses

I nearly bought a Nikon D100 but like you pointed out, the choice of lenses was not as good as the Canon EFS range. Only have a 18-55mm lens at the moment but looking at getting a 55-250mm and a 35-80mm.

I'll recommend the 70-300 (I think is the range) obviously if you can go higher the better. what is your primary use of the camera

still shoots - you've got a good lense, for fast moving and most of the time subject is far away, a good zoom lense but as I found out these are expensive,

Amazon have good deals on the Canon Lenses, the 55-250mm is only £140, was £320.
