i understand your point Loz, but as we have always said, if we liked the same thing then it would be boring, Alfa SZ is a good example, most of you guys love it, i hate it with a passion.

Certainly agree with you there Adam ,

just makes me chuckle when they revamp cars / fashion, they have virtually exhausted all the designs possible and so the only place to go is to re juggle an old design and re-package and res-sell it as something new or different , we used to and still have perfectly good water coming out of the tap ,untill some Del boy Trotter teamed up with an advertising agency , bogusly slagged off tap water and started selling his bottle water , 5 years down the line he's a multi millionaire probably by now 20 years a billionaire and those of us who still drink tap water are still very much alive and kicking ............. whose the suckers never paid for bottled water in my life

Marketing is the worlds biggest thing.....you can do anything with the right campaign....you could invade a country that is making WMD only after 8 years you dont find them, but youve killed the man responsible....
Give permission to crash the twin towers then go after the man responsible, afghanostan was it? What he was in afghanistan for 10 years?? No sorry he left went somewhere bit 10 years later they still there....oil did you say.....there was no bin laden and there was no terror attacks just some clever marketing.....all this is my opinion so dont go ******* me....

A yellow RS2, you will be lucky, not many of those, only 3 pearl white were ever made, 1 in the UK. There is a couple of Yellow examples in the UK i believe. Here is a piccy.

Imola Yellow and Nogaro Blue are very rare on the B5 RS4, most were Avus Silver which is pretty boring. Misano Red is nice.

Adam, the only fast Audi I like other than the R8........Mad Chris has sold a few and they seemed to have a bit of soul which other fast Audi's lack....But then Porsche had a hand in this one I believe.

Agree with you Adam...well, I don't hate it with a passion, but definitely not one I would want to own, I just don't get the styling.

Yeah the RS2, it had Porsche 964 Cup wheels, brakes, mirrors along with some Porsche engine upgrades. Was only available in estate and was built in 1994. Just did an insurance quote for an RS2 based on 4 Years NCB, 6K miles per year, £250 excess and the car was worth 11k. The CHEAPEST quote i got was.....................ready................................ £2981

I know it is insurance group 20 but flippin heck how much for a 17 year old car.

I know i am the risk but did not expect it to be around 3k for insurance. Wonder what classic car insurance would be like. I would hate to think what a GS would be, probably around 5k i bet.

You can't get it til your 25 I believe, then on other policies you might be a named driver from 21...for a full and proper classic policy

More Adam , a lot more , i told you a while ago my 21 year old son , had his own insurance for 4 years, 55 plate polo 1200cc and pays £756 a year rang me up , he was interested in a 58 plate mx5 very low miles cat d he'd seen on copart with very light damage he wanted to bid for on my account , car would have cost buying and repair around the £5K mark , i told him to get a quote 1st and then come back to me , he came back with a price of £4K yeah thats nearly as much as the car cost

Heh heh, welcome to the world of motoring.

Unfortunately Adam, you may turn out to be a very careful driver, but there are a lot of youngsters out there who will drive quicker than their experience permits and crash a car. No reflection on you, just a statistics thing.

Once you have a few years NCB under your belt, life will be easier. Alternatively, just get a well paid job and do lots of overtime, and then you won't notice it so much!

I remember you telling me that Loz, the quote for the MX5 is absurd.
