Best of the best comp - Maser winner saying hi

Hi guys
Darren from Ramsgate in Kent here just introducing myself and saying hi.
I was very lucky to win a Maserati GranTurismo S a couple of months ago, however i took the money instead due to a house purchase.
With the money left i only think it's right that i still get myself a Maser so with around £20k to play with I'll be looking at the Quattroporte, 3200GT, 4200GT or may go for a Jag XKR. It will be a 'fun' car with the occasional long journey family trip so any thoughts or advice would be great.

PS Might be a stretch for your budgetbut a mid miles GS the one to go for value wise

If you can stretch to a GS you won't regret it but others will tell you the 3200 is best or the 4200 or the 4200 facelift just drive them have fun and pick one you fall in love with. Then it won't mater wat goes wrong with her as you love her and will get it sorted and love her again.

Congratulations and welcome Darren; Madness here is not requisite but it helps! Loads of great advise available and plenty of good banter too. £20k will get you a very sorted 4200 and insurance as well at the moment or a really luxurious QP to waft the family around in. Depends what your needs are?

It would have to be a 70's pillarless XJ-C 5.3 V12 if a Jag.

I so nearly got the Jag as well, but came on here and now have a Maserati and never regretted it...go for it, stunning cars and will make you smile every day.
