For now it’s just a watching brief - nearer the time we will try to move the dates, as you say insurance will only kick in if travel advice changes or if one of us “gets it” - if I get desperate I can always start licking surfaces in public places to try and catch itAll the emails I get from my usual airlines tell me about the improved flexibility on tickets booked now. It's a cashflow play for them - they get the money in and booking confirmed, even if the date changes. Unless imposed by government restriction, I'd be amazed if they canceled any of them. As far as I know, travel insurance is guided by the FCO, so if the FCO says 'avoid!' you might be able to claim for the lost cost of tickets.
