Planning for Christmas has been at the front of ours minds for sometime, most things have to come in from mainland UK & Europe so we got a head of the game and worked out what we needed, most of the stuff is already here so Santa will be arriving here. Normal essential Christmas extras, gin, wine and beer are being delivered today along with Christmas pud and cake production this weekend we should be ready.

Only worries will be can we get our 14ft tree from the local supplier and will we be on turkey or lamb or beef the latter of which we already have in the big freezer - so overall are we worried No

Yes, well copied from a description by Stuart P. Weisberg, MD, PhD, Assistant Professor of Pathology & Cell Biology at Columbia University Irving Medical Center. Shame on @doodlebug for quoting a medical professional when describing how the immune system works, rather than just making something up out of his own imagination or quoting a headline from the Metro. That will get him banned from the thread for sure!

I'll get my coat.....

So that science is ok, but another isn’t.
Why don’t you ask Catman for some of the science I sent him 7 months ago?
Let’s see who’s science is more more inkeeping with what we’re all experiencing.

You're right, it was copied from several sources.

I have been extensively involved in trying to fix this virus with developing two major best-selling products for both the detection of the virus and the treatment of its victims.

What have you done, apart from your usual scaremongering?
Three things.
  1. You copied.
  2. Unless there is an extraordinary leap in technology there won’t be virus cure for many many years.
Detection, possibly, but over what we have now, not too impressive.

3.What have I done?
Bring this to peoples attention from way back when I was really worried.
To now , when I. am merely concerned .

I note you haven’t named your testing/ cures.

Christmas? I'll be away, with work, 23rd to the 6th. Probably for the best this year.

Very sensible locus of control, sir. Hat's off to you.

I’m not criticising you for working on a vaccine.
However,
Claiming you are working on two best selling products is a bit rich unless you name em.
Who’s buying your cure?

By the way , i think scaremongering is something govt’s are now doing, not me.

Sorry I've not replied to your comments, I've been working on the next phase of a rapid portable antibody tester.
If a test result in 20 minutes isn't impressive, I'm obviously wasting my time.
In reply to your comments
  1. So what if I did copy. At least I'm not making stuff up.
  2. How do you know? Are you still making stuff up or is it just more scaremongering?
  3. Have a look at just a few of your previous posts in this thread. If you think you are innocent of scaremongering, your definition is obviously different from mine.

I am not generally allowed to publish names of products I have worked on, but in one case I can because there is no NDA attached. Heard of DnaNudge?

Another rapid tester is was initially designed by me as a Point Of Contact rapid chlamydia tester and has been repurposed by a colleague and me as a COVID-19 antibody PCR tester and is manufactured in Berlin in Germany. This is covered by an NDA so I can't name the product. You'll just have to take my word for it or you might be able to find it if you were that interested.

Another product I had some input on is also protected by an NDA. I am allowed to say it is for a device which can impart extremely fine particles of dexamethasone and other corticosteroids directly deep into the lungs which is undergoing trials for its efficacy compared to intramuscular injection.

Finally, I designed most of the electronics on the ill-fated Dyson ventilator. Fortunately these were never needed and Dyson took the product to Malaysia/Singapore for manufacturing, contrary to the agreement he had with the UK government.

I'm still waiting to hear what you are doing about it.

I never said I'm working on a vaccine. If you had half a clue about anything, you would know that most products are developed under NDA.

The cure? Simples.

Here in Bushmills, I am naturally putting my money on Bushmills 21 year old Malt and Stones Ginger Wine.
For the uninformed among you, together these make a Whiskey Mac.

I'm hedging my bets with Gordons Gin and Schweppes Indian Tonic.

I shall either survive. Or go down, right arm swinging :beach:

Oh God, you’re too busy working to respond . Nice line.
How long does it take to normally get all these thing through testing?

1.2, 3 show me the scaremongering. Recent? I was very worried early doors.
Not recently. Tell me the death rate? 3% less?
2. DNA Nudge- nope. Please explain.
3, 4 etc

What am I doing about it?
Staying safe, cos I trust that over all your rushed through vaccines.

These products usually take 5 years or more to get through testing. As an example, the Dyson ventilator took 5 weeks from the initial meeting to a the first production products rolling off the production line. All of the invasive products I have developed since the start of the pandemic, as have most of those by other engineers/chemists/medical teams, been given emergency medical approval, i.e. to be used on COVID patients only. One of the rapid testers had already been approved for chlamydia so only needed confirmation of the accuracy of the COVID result as it is non-invasive.

As for DnaNudge, don't you know how to use Google. Here, HTH.

I have been working 17 hour days for weeks at a time. As for "Nice line" - is it in your nature to respond like that or has the pandemic given you a personality transplant?

As for scaremongering, how about posts #51, #65, #108, #109 etc etc. on this thread. I got bored searching for more.

By the way I’ve more than a clue on most things.

You said trying to fix......two best selling products.
not me.
Good work by the way,
not knocking it.
Just don’t claim something you haven’t achieved....or can’t name......even tho they’re best selling.
I’ll call u out.
