Already experiencing that Fc, will never have a car like an Mc again.....anyway beside that,

Worst case.
Ours is an unusual situation....adapt to fit yours. Here are some, not all...
Make of it what you will.
We don’t go out to work, kinda semi/retired and comfortable. +ve we can avoid interaction.
We live on top floor and subject to supplies don’t have to leave....hence a new freezer arriving.

We spend our day leisurely at home/ gym and in my case gathering knowledge.
Preparing.

-ve,we have the most precious thing in our lives at school, prep. We’ll never risk that as it would devastate us beyond repair.
We have a lot of assets to protect and a bank account isn’t an option. It can be seized.
If elec packs and lifts fail its a long walk down and up again......not many would take the trouble.

Worst case, been saying it for weeks.
This isn’t a normal virus, so many locked down for so few deaths?
50000, in Italy for how many? More would have died from accidents, heart attacks etc

My feeling is they:
Are covering the severity up- telling the truth would cause a panic.

The financial system that is already “fake” will fail and life as you know it will collapse as a result. Millions destitute (potentially sick). The financial systems failed years ago...covered up by trillions out of thin air....bankers didn’t think a health situation would ever unveil what’s going on. Covid19 if unchecked will do exactly that!

Few realise this Maseratigent, Froddy do.

Get your money out of banks.
Prepare for your family and a hunker down
True story- we have a friend in Brisvegas selling real estate, she has been off work for a week on “lock down” as a colleague came back from a cruise and infected the whole office. Last tues she though she was dying and almost went to hospital.....she didn’t.
We asked if she had been tested for covid-19 and she said no. The Dr told her she had influenza A and therefore couldn’t catch covid.
Seems we’ve found a cure for covid19, just give everyone a dose of Flu A, wtf!

They are covering this up.

Based on this logic I am going to resurrect Mad Mikes steam rocket and set off for the moon

So I'm clear - you're saying hold on EUR? You reckon that converting from EUR to GBP / USD will be better in a few months than now, or exactly the opposite?
My gut is the $ (for the reason it is the world’s reserve currency) will perform better than the Euro.
So I personally would hold $ over Euros for now.......I’d do it in Gold form rather than currency.

From a different forum.................

The more that I look at the details in yesterday's pic of Iran's leaders, the less confidence that I have that the Mullahs are going to contain CoronaVirus there:

My thoughts............................
What the heck is it with the guy in the all black mask? He looks more like Antifa than Iran government official.
The idiots are running the asylum?

Wait, wait, wait..........just spotted sixth from the right, second row ......Is that an old divers helmet? This is a wind up right?

So Mrs just called in a bit of a state saying that she might be sent home as she has developed a temp and sore throat and the new NHS/Government advice is to self isolate if having been in Lombardy or Northern Italy.. Joy oh joy! I feel a bit under the weather too. Let's see how it pans out...

Good luck, P&S. Could just be a cold, but it's kind of hard to tell the difference, I suppose. I've been spending a ton of time with Northern Italians and have decided that my cold is exactly that, a cold.

The annoying thing is that she gave the school the option on Sunday and they said come in. Now she has some symptoms they are saying well we will decide and it's too late lol. Weird mentality. I think you are right it is just a Cold BUT with this virus being asymptomatic no one knows if they are spreading or not and for us if the incubation period is to be believed then it is too early for the symptoms to show. If I am short of breath and have a fever then I will really start to worry!

Hope all is OK Phil, and now hoping that Matt has his flu filters configured on the forum ;)

The ironic thing is with all this, the symptoms for the virus are exactly the same as any other cold/flu/seasonal snotty nose/cough.

How exactly are you supposed to know the difference? Because based on the symptoms I've had COVID 19 three times since November!
And have it again.

Having said that, there is an Italian in the office next to mine........

I think if you had the real deal you would have breathing problems, every joint would ache and you would have a temp as high as 40! I think you have had man flu!

Lots of confusion at the moment.
Around here school kids are being sent home for self isolation after returning from half term Italian ski trips.
My daughter was also skiing in Italy but via coach not via Milan airport so low risk. Saying that some on the trip have been sent home today because they have a caugh.
Reports that some of the colleges are shutting down too as a result, but can't confirm.
