For ease of reference, I have prepared a spreadsheet listing all the parts I could find in this thread (not looked at the foreign sites, yet)

I've not included credits for the discoverer of the alternative, but can if people think it's useful.

I have tried to cut through the differing opinions, or added notes to clarify. The only two that spring to mind are the MAF sensors (which I have included, as *I* am happy as to the suitability) and the knock sensors, as there seems to be substantial disagreement as to whether replacements are fit for purpose.

Problem I have is that I can't attach it (no surprise now I think about it)

Happy to send it to anyone, but do we have a drop box or similar for the forum?

No, just the cooling fan.

Not more reliable but you can get the cheaper BMW one. I think you need to check that if yours has 4 or 5 terminals.
