Alternative parts, what everyone needs to know...

A very minor part, but when it's missing, there are few parts that feel minor.
In this case, the part in question is the Glove Box Hinge part 66
493600 - this is for the glove box in the center armrest. While reassembling the armrest area for heater core replacement, I overtorqued a screw and split the original hinge into pieces. Tried gluing it, to no avail.
This part is NLA from Eurospares, Scuderia, or anywhere except a breaker yard.
So I went to eBay. What I received from the eBay vendor, though, was not an original Maserati part, it was a standard industrial part that is absolutely identical. The part was stamped "Southco.com", and with a little sleuthing on their site, I found the exact part here:

Not an alternative part per se, I noticed Superformance are doing aftermarket brake discs for the 550 at a not an unreasonable price, not as cheap as the forum buy or elsewhere but every little helps? These will fit the 3200/4200/GS ?

Both Eurospares and Ferrariparts stated they cannot supply it and that the item is no longer available from the factory.

It doesn’t look like a a car part, it’s looks like a bearing for a conveyor belt or platform.

I think it's been mentioned on this thread somewhere but if you need a single fuel injector for a GT this is the Bosch number for (OEM 213635). Bought through Autodoc on Monday for £30.87 and arrived on Friday.

You're not able to buy a single injector on Scuderia or Eurospares website.
