Well I put on new PS2s all round 4k miles ago and had the alignment done by someone lots of people trust at the same time. Anyway, all four tyres are showing 1mm less tread on the inside than the outside (5-6mm on the front and 4-5mm on the rear). Obviously some cars are set up in a way which can lead to this but the question is is this the correct experience or not for a 4200GT?
I'm also not going to get many miles out of the rears (7k miles in total?). I drive a lot of B roads and like to drive the car as intended (no smoky starts mind) and wonder if a different brand will give me greater life next time? I had planned to put another pair of PS2s on the back in a few months as the fronts will last the same again but even after a nice discount, two PS2s are not much less than four F1s. Any thoughts?
