AC in the Highlands

Well took the car on a wee 400 mile jaunt to Kinloch Rannoch and surrounding area. Apart from the oil pressure gauge with a mind of it's own, ( will get it seen to soon,) and a knock from the rear at one point which I think was handbrake related, ( gone now only did it late one evening in the dark and rain, down hill turning right slowly , so wheel would be unloaded.) car performed superbly. Was a bit worried as we were at least 18 miles from a mobile phone signal! Sometimes roads were a bit twisty and narrow, with blind bends, but the AC brakes are really good :)
A few pics.

my folks live in the highlands (Morar) so get to go up a few times a year to scare my self silly on the A830 from Fort William - great fun, but the midges... never quite got used to them.

The Scottish midges look forward to feasting on any visitor they can find, anytime, but we obviously taste much better then the local meat???

They are better up there than down here. They can have the midges, we'll have the oil.

Looks like a fun trip, we cannot wait to do more exploring of Scotland ourselves as new residents to the area.

What is an AC Your car looks like a 4200, is the AC a special model? Newbie questions :)
