Went into the workshop yesterday in prep for the Festival of the unexceptional next month. Brake bleed, battery, adjust rear bearings and a few other bits

I’ve woken up early, full of excitement. My Peugeot 406 L DT is ready to go and I am heading up to Grimsthorpe this morning with a carload of nieces and my big sister. Can’t wait to see the Festival of the Unexceptional, I’ve wanted to go for years. Did your car get accepted into the Concours de l’Ordinaire, Matt?

Remember those well especially when following one up a hill and the black smoke coming out the back which was the norm for all diesels back then :)

Only the French would create a front mid engined car a la GranTurismo, but stick the gearbox in front of the engine...all the weight on the driving wheels....
