Oh that's nice, and someone's taken a lot of care in the engine bay even with leads and clamps aligned instead of just chucking it in. Very impressive, I'd love to see it in the flesh. Got any interior pics?

Once got into an argument with a Motorist Discount Centre (who remembers them) sales advisor when trying to purchase service parts for a R10, he told me categorically there was no such thing despite me having one parked outside.

I miss the quirky cars from the 70’s and 80’s in this current era of bloated, bespoilered SUV’s with F1 style “diffusers” that in the end look more or less the same. Yes, you may call me an old fart :p

Does the CX have a separate chassis?
Subframes you can see in the top pic. We loved them for tech and space. Bought several estates for a song with bad spheres or burst hydraulics - simple fixes. 3 head gaskets blown on the 2l engines -always around 100,000 miles. Single finger power steering at low speed meant that the Wee Woman would bore holes in the tarmac drive.
