3200GT remote boot and filler cap release unit

Hi All

The buttons on my remote release unit are sticking in which is a bit annoying. I've tried lubricating them and even skimming them on a sander to make them looser. Doesn't seem to help.

It is a FITA/LANCIA part so what other cars was this part used on? I'm assuming it will be cheaper to buy a Fiat part from a Fiat dealer rather than a Maserati one !

Any help appreciated :)

I have cured the problem before by using a small nail file and round file on the oval switch surround of the case. You do have to be quite aggressive and take off more than you think you should. The outer case seems to warp over time and create pinch points.

Wipe both the button and the inside the oval outer with some a cloth with silicone lubricant sprayed onto it once your done.
