In all honesty, it was the best fun of anything I've ever had on the road. It's been a few years, but hopefully next year, it'll be back and running :)

An 1800cc 180 bhp Gordan Allen motor,it could torque steer for England :D

My word, I bet it could. Was it still a boxer? I know those things weren't the most powerful, but by heck they just wanted to keep going. And the *overrun* :D:D:D

That must be a late 105 bhp Cloverleaf Edition, quite rare without lots of rust
Spare parts for Alfasuds in general are becoming very difficult to find nowadays...

The local Doctor had a silver one and I always turned my head when he went past....

Hmm, are they Alfatwo? I have some wheels, windscreen and tailgate in the garage. Anything I should look out for?

Had an 04 3.2 V6 GT kept it for five years - honestly the best car I've ever owned. I love the 4200 & the power is something else (although could always do with a little more ;-) ) but I properly miss the GT! Especially the 11 speaker Bose system! The sound was lovely, the drive was sure footed, fast & reassuring the the design, ageless! I doubt I'll ever get one again because I'll be disappointed compared to the one I sold last year!

The 4200 has only been gone for a couple of hours (at Dick Lovett for a service, don't worry) & miss looking out my window & seeing it from my front room! And yes, I park it where I can see it on purpose! There's nothing like a V8!

Interesting, snowflakes. I found my GT nose heavy, overly stiffly sprung and incapable of handling the power. The stereo was good, though. :)

I'm making it sound worse that it was, which is not my intention, but it wasn't the be all and end all IME.

C - agree it technically wasn't the be all, but you know sometimes you bond with a car ....... now I sound like a nut job :hammer:
