Hi,

I've been looking around for a full brochure to come up on ebay but nothing has so far, so does anybody have one they could photocopy or scan in and send me so I can see what the crack is?

I've bought a hardback brochure/book on the Spyder and Coupe and that should be with me early next week, are the option lists very similar or did they totally revamp for the 4200 series cars?

Ideally looking for a late model brochure.

Thanks all

Sean

Cheers P but that ones a bit too early, when I buy i'll be looking for a late model, there are one or two on pistonheads at the mo but pricing seems to be wildly inconsistant so I really need to know what the optional extras are that warrant the extra coin (theres a 2001 for 13K and another for 16K with more miles on it...)

Sure...extras make for a nicer car......easier to sell/more desirable....but how much are they worth on a car 10 yrs old...........??................not very much!!!

Again...proof will be in the eating of the pudding.....indie inspection regardless of what it looks like in an advert.............................

You should be able to get the list of optional extras (and their cost) on parkers.co.uk site, facts and figures section.

Hi

From looking at different cars and from a book I have with Autocar and other road tests of 3200's the following is a list of options I am aware of in addition to Paint and interior colour options.I have included approximate costs if known.

1/ Space saver spare wheel. £500
2/ 6 CD changer in boot.
3/ Heated , memory, electrical adjustable seats in lieu of electrical adjustable only.
4/ Sat Nav- later models Y onwards £1750.
5/ Electronic suspension - Sky hook- Some cars have standard type shock absorbers (non adjustable)
6/ Automatic gearbox £2,000
7/ There were some Carbon Fibre interior options but not sure exactly what was available.

Hope this helps, not sure any of these is worth paying loads over the odds for, the most useful is probably the space saver spare. Sky hook suspension sounds good but not many people notice the difference between settings and its expensive if it goes wrong.

Interesting but in my brochure there is no mention of Skyhook...Just the sport button....

In the manual its described as a "Shock Absorber Damping Control System"that varies the shock absober settings depending on the selection ( normal or sport) and also depending on how the car is being driven via information provided by Vehicle speed, and vertical and transverse position sensors. I don't think it is "Skyhook" just am early electronic system. I believe that Skyhook was the later system fitted to the 4200 and perhaps on a few year 2002 3200's.

Perhaps someone with a late 3200 can confirm this.

All UK 3200's had Skyhook so I was told by David Askew some years back. There was a regular shock setup but it must have only been available on the continent. Also the leather headliner was a £2k option and I am sure you could have xenons also.
