I thought I had a rubbish day but up a place to 4th. Others must have had an even worse day.

Yes my team(s) did not do well and the predictions were not great either, but there were no huge scores so not too much damage - just wish I could get rid of Sargeant but he’s worth nothing.

The race itself (and qualifying) was great though, action all around and whilst Max still ended up first, you have to give it to him to actually make it happen and not trip over himself in these conditions. Not a single mistake where others ( except Alonso) faltered. We should count ourselves lucky to be seeing this mastery. We’ve had quite a few rain races this season and usually that gives some surprise winners, but, just like in the Schumi days, not now. Kudos.

Liam Lawson stepping in for Riccardo scored 17 points for my team. I think I break his other hand.

And Congratulations Andyk for the race win. You scored the most for the weekend with 178.

It was a pretty bad weekend. Mclaren and mercedes not showing up really. Also took some risk, since you need to make some different choices to get more points. But happy with alpine in my team.

Rain certainly shook things up a bit but not enough for my predictions. The Old Man Alonso did well again but he always does when things get tricky, the Aston is pretty good if speeds are down but seems to suffer at flat out race pace. WTF are Ferrari up to with strategy, they seem to get ever call wrong one way or another

Another exciting race with lots of action and Max getting his well deserved record. Great that Sainz managed 3rd and that the Ferraris didn’t muck it up with technical or strategy or pitstop problems. Taking each other out was kinda on the cards though..

Why do SKY block out the crowd for the podium. Is it because we aren’t allowed to hear them boo Max in this woke world.

Who wants to hear booing anyway? It’s bad form.
Maybe but if it is happening why drown it out it’s just how it is. Plus it is true reflection of the crowd feeling. We have had it with Max fans with Lewis and with others. I don’t agree with it but also see no need to drown it out. We live in a society where you cannot say anything for fear of offending.

We also live in a society where offending thoughtlessly (or even on purpose) is par for the course - I for one don’t need to see or hear that, it doesn’t add anything - to my life in any case. On social media there is no fear of offending so plenty there for those who want it. Horses for courses of course.

Regardless what you think of Max you can't argue that in that car he is leagues ahead of anyone else, overall not a bad race Ferrari managed to not feck it up although it looked liked they were trying.

Singapore in two weeks

I don’t think enough is said about Red Bull as a team, to deliver a car that can be that reliable week in week out is a massive achievement and for Max not to bin/break it consistently is getting towards the skill set that has made Lewis the greatest of all time.
