Yeah but just cool it on the judgemental language, it is totally unnecessary. Did you notice Lewis spoiling his lap subsequently? Getting out slow when there is hardly any time left gave him every right to overtake, you do know there are new rules since Mexico re this? In my view Lewis was the one playing games, like he has been doing all weekend. I guess if you’re frustrated with a slow car there is not much you can do. I’ll refrain from calling him names though.

You really do not like a Lewis do you. You never quote other drivers just Lewis when anyone criticises Max. Max is the number one driver without a doubt and unstoppable. His team mate cannot get anywhere near him which really does show his talent. Great driver which no one cannot argue with but doesn’t mean he is a likeable chap and that part is about how he comes over not his driving.

In this specific case, he overtook Lewis in the tunnel, for which he was called an arrogant pr1ck and the biggest cock nostril of all times in F1. Alonso also overtook in the tunnel, I guess he was a wily old fox? Didn’t hear anything about him doing it. Most of the criticism of Max comes in relation to what he does/did/is thought to have done to Lewis, and in this case I thought it relevant to mention what Lewis did in return to the cock nostril / arrogant pr1ck action…I’m not a fan of Lewis but I refrain from any name calling or unfair comment. It’s a sport. I’m also not a fan of Stroll, Ocon or any number of other drivers but they don’t feature a lot in most of the controversies we’ve had. There is enough hate on social media, is it really necessary for grown men to replicate it here?

It’s not name calling …If you look up Max in the dictionary it’s says Cock Nostrell so must be true.

Sorry, you are right and you do get wound up very easily where Max is concerned so I will refrain from any more comments either way and let’s get on and enjoy the racing. No hate my end by the way.

Tomorrow isn’t about any of them to be honest just yourself and Dan…Their championship is over but yours isn’t and it is anyone’s at the moment. Good luck to you both.

The tunnel has enough space for cars to overtake if they keep to the side. Perception is a personal, subjective thing, not an absolute. Perception: A way of understanding or interpreting things. Reality: The state of things as they actually exist, rather than as they may be perceived or might be imagined ;)
Totally agree on the definition of perception and as I stated my perception is based on the actions I see, unsurprisingly I don't seem to be the only one who feels that way. Most of the people you meet you base your perception on the actions they display. Some people show different actions to different people and therefore those people perceive them differently, Max might be a really nice person but I can only base my view on what I see.

I don't agree the tunnel is wide enough to pass, if one car has to move nearer the wall to allow space then both are in danger of collision - seemly the FIA agree and have today banned overtaking in the tunnel due to the danger and the lack of access if there was an accident.

PS I don't hate Max by the way but I do think he is arrogant, he also is a superb driver it will be interesting overtime what he is most remembered for.

I just think he's a graceless winner. Will likely be the epitome of the sport...similar to Tom Brady in American football. Best ever, and also (seemingly) biggest jerk.

Well it went down to the wire which was a big surprise with Tallman leading from start until the last two races with Dan taking the lead and keeping it for the last race. Well done the top three but a big well done to Dan. I taught him everything he knows by the way :)

Congrats, and well done!

Dan said thank you and he is over the moon.

One thing so will say is that was one boring race though. Used love it when Brazil was the last the race as love that track while this one is a bit boring.

ohh i was not expecting to go anywhere anymore. The changes finally paid off in the last race! I feel a bit like lewis, not really doing anything special but still getting a good result in the championship. Thanks for organizing, always adds a little extra spice to a race.

Well done Dan! Happy to have achieved a mid-table finish and just stayed ahead of Zep. Thanks for organising @zagatoes30 and for the prediction reminders. Doing this made the season more interesting. Thanks all

I hate Yas Marina as the last race of the season but for once it kept us guessing until the very end.

If we ignore Red Bull, constructors went to the very last lap and drivers the 2 old buggers led the rest and Leclerc and Alonso ending up with the same number of points.

However Red Bull were amazing, Max not only won by a country mile but he finished every single lap and led for over a 1000 over the season. Perez should have done better with such a dominant car but an easy second eventually. Constructors wise even adding Merc and Ferrari together Red Bull still would have won.
