I thought it was for the egos...The extra size is due to the need to package the hybrid systems.

They're not that bigI thought it was for the egos...
Hence why I like the MotoGP bikes, although shape shifters and aero are nullifying races somewhat. You’d have to have been watching F1 in the late 50s early 60s for cars to be much narrower than today. Aero is the issue.
It’s interesting that. A lot of people said the late 50s ban on “aero” in GP bikes stiffled development but it’s begging to look like they were right and it’s given us 60 years of good racing.Hence why I like the MotoGP bikes, although shape shifters and aero are nullifying races somewhat.
They had fully enclosed bikes then which made the bikes a lot faster, beyond the capabilities of 50's brakes and tyres. But they still raced on dodgy road circuits like the Isle of Man, Finland, Yugoslavia and the cobbles of the old Sachsenring. It’s interesting that. I think your usual practice needs some revising - mind you, mine was not much better..Per my usual practice, I have made my picks for Canada.
Anyone see anything about the Detroit GP? Fewer wrecks than I had expected, especially given the parallel lane pit road that shunted into a single exit lane, and the crazy hairpin turn 3...felt a bit F1 in that the pole car won...but Kyle Kirkwood got dinged early, had to replace his tail, and fell back to P27 and ended up in P6, with an actual opportunity to get on the podium...
My challenge is I've had too much going on to really dig in, so have just been taking shots in the dark all along. And generally going with my heart over my head. No Red Bull car, no Red Bull racers in my stable at the start, and haven't changed.I think your usual practice needs some revising - mind you, mine was not much better..

Had that and the IndyCar deal on at same time (while they overlapped)...Palou is pretty Verstappenish...another good showing by Aston and MB.Good race, not the most exciting - I expected more overtakes. Perez again not being able to make use of the pace that Max seems to get out of that Red Bull. Ferrari somehow managing to squeeze more life out of the tyres was also surprising. Saved their race..
Will need some lottery numbers from you, then, as you are apparently a psychic medium of some kind...It’s possible, I don't have Max nor Perez. I had Perez for the first race only.
