Back on again this weekend in Hungary, normally schedule so predictions in before Quali on the Saturday.

Ricciardo back in a F1 replacing De Vries in the AlphaTauri but otherwise much the same

So Horner backing Max & Checo to drive next years Red Bull, that almost certainly means one of them is out as he's a lying C U Next Tuesday

What a fantastic qualifying and love the changes as it really seems to make it more exciting. Well done Lewis bloody brilliant…That was worth the wait. Not sure he will be able to keep that pesky Red Bill behind for a whole race though but this is a good step forward to start to challenge along with Lando.

Not sure about the Quali format but some interesting results, where did the Alfa boys find that pace

Putting everyone in the same tyres is a brilliant idea as it levels it up a bit plus I didn’t realise they throw any tyres they don’t use away after a Grand Prix weekend. That is shocking so this will also help with the waste which must be a good thing. Yes I know they get recycled but that again is a waste of energy. Keep this way for me.

No surprise really that who he who is trying to grow moustache but can’t wins. But it was all about what was behind and brilliant for Lando. Lewis needed a few more laps and he could have taken Perez but that is racing. Mclaren seem to be the team to watch which is brilliant. Great to see them back where they should be.

My eldest was over the moon….

The surprise was that Max was first into the first corner from the dirty side - After that there were no surprises. I made my team changes just in time. Nice to see Danny Ric finish 13th and ahead of Tsunoda, that’ll keep the boss happy (for now). Well done to Scuderia Gelati for taking first place - my 40 penalty points didn’t help but I hope the investment will pay off.

Always thought Max would be first into the corner. Was hoping it would take a little longer. Not a Max fan as you know but while the car maybe the fastest the fact he was over 30 seconds ahead of his team mate shows it is the car and his talent and it isn’t a one off as it happens week after week. If Perez was second every race then you could say it was just the car but he isn’t so credit where it is due. He is still a knob mind you ;-) but a very talented knob.

I am top of the league....still not taking it seriously ;)
I nailed the podium, Verstappen, Norris and Perez. First time.
I have been riding my ship all the way to the bottom of the sea. My money was on Aston figuring it out before McLaren. Selah.

Andy, I suspect that once Perez realised he wasn't going to reach Lando in time, they turned everything down. I doubt LH would have been allowed any closer. Interesting how much better the Mercs were once the fuel load was gone - transformed the car!

I got Max (obviously) and I had Lewis third but he bottled the start after trying to put Max in the wall ;). One of my worst races prediction wise. The new Pirelli’s must be kinder to McLaren, Alfa and -at least on the mediums & softs - Mercedes. Aston lost out and looking at qualifying Red Bull is also worse off. Race pace wise, the update must have mitigated the tyre loss. But we will have to see what happens on a variety of tracks as Hungary is not your average track. Perez finally had a good race but again qualifying pace cost him a sure second place.

Ricciardo replacing De Vries for the same money gave me space to move my teams about, team wise I had the first 6 so can't complain at that. Predictions wise I Hamilton getting pole but missing 3rd cost me some points but still steadily moving up the table.
