Too much booze and richer food this week (and I had dry feet this morning)

No biggy. Longer walks required and the weighted vest is out :)

Focus on the big picture rather than weekly change .... you are doing great :)

Oh I am sir. Done it before, doing it again. My weight has typically varied by about 10-14 lbs since I lost the large amount, so this is familiar territory.

I’m avoiding the scales. No gym currently, so I’m only exercising about the half amount that I was. Plus drinking more during this time of National Holiday (sorry, National Crisis).

No weight loss this week (well maybe 1/2 lb if I'm being generous but dropped another 30 seconds off my 5k time and have exercised hard this week.

That's an impressive rate of progress!

I was one of the worlds fittest alcoholics for 22 years. Then they pensioned me off. Now I’m just an alcoholic with a bbq!!

At least you have a BBQ. The horror of mine that I didn't clean before it was put away last year.

Even worse, I'm out of gas because it leaked when the BBQ was blown away in the gales...

Still it's clean ish now and will grill again!

Getting the smoker out tonight, which will be nice

I’m back on a health kick, and have decided I’m using lockdown as a mini health reset...

This means I gave up booze on 1st April (foolish I know) and I’m going to try to use some of the 2 hrs a day I commuted into London to exercise. I’m lucky that I’ve got quite a bit of kit at home, so have no excuses not to use it...

So far the story goes:

1st April - Weight 93.4kg; Lean mass 66.9kg; fat 26.5kg
5th April - Weight 92.0kg; Lean mass 66.8kg; fat 25.2kg

I suspect we will be on some kind of lockdown until end of May, which is 8 weeks from now, and my goal is to be under 85kg... and to have maintained (or gained) lean mass.

Today is the end of the first week of my lockdown mini bootcamp (I.e. no booze and a bit more exercise)

1st April - Weight 93.4kg; Lean mass 66.9kg; fat 26.5kg
8th April - Weight 92.3kg; Lean mass 67.1kg; fat 25.2kg

Hope everyone else is managing to stay well...

Well done JonW, an excellent weeks effort that frankly puts mine to shame

I have everything on hold. I'll eat what I have in, drink much the same, and reassess after a month or so. Keeping busy, so hopefully will stay much the same for now.

Ah we could start a new thread for Gentlemens Grooming Tips preferred methods etc with all this time on our hands.

Ive noticed most guys my age have hairs sticking out their nostrils and ears , any tips how i grow some , seem to be lacking in that area
