First fail of the year. They have chocolate chip cookies in the office biscuit barrel.

And very nice they are too! :p

Do you want to pop round to ours and clear all our bad stuff too? It will remove the temptation when I get home on Friday

I'm sorry. This is a service we do not currently offer. We will be re-introducing our 'Un-finished business' product suite late December this year ;)

I managed a half pound loss yesterday, weighing in at the same time of day, I'm not counting it until I see a trend forming though... I should be able to manage that sort of rate just by not overeating, reduced carbs and fat!

Probably water (and ****, but we don't really want to know about that), but no worse for that. Half a pound of fat is 1750 calories. That would be a serious deficit, although not impossible, just unlikely unless you've been doing a significant amount of exercise.

There are different ways to be supportive. Put the cookie down....you don't need it! I could have been and am normally more harsh.

Maybe a replacement is in order that can replace the cookie. Even something that is half the fat/calories. Any improvement is a step forward however small. It will make a difference over a sustained longer period. It may seem small but will add up to a big difference.

So we're holding you accountable, Mark. Not even made it to lunch on day 1? Seriously?

C

To be fair I only had 2. Normally I would have gone for at lest 4 or 5.

Surprised he's not out playing in his Jaguar XF ;)

That's tomorrow when I have to drive to Swindon.

Now now, we’re meant to be being supportive....

So Mark, what do you think led to your (pathetic) failure, and what would help you to do better next time?

A liking of chocolate and biscuits. Put the two together and resistance is futile!

So you're quitting already? Semi-serious question, but it you really mean resistance is futile......

C

I'm not a quitter, quitters never win, and winners never quit.

I'm just saying I had some chocolate chip cookies. I guess if I cut all of those out I might lose weight quicker. But where's the fun in that?
Everything in moderation. Including moderation itself! :p:p:p

See...there is progress for you. At least half what you normally would have had. We are moving forwards people.

True indeed, lunch today was probably 1/3 of what it would have been usually! Calorificaly probably < 1/4!!!

Good work Newton. Nice had no snacks today but just having coffee and a Belvita Blueberry soft biscuit thing. Not sure if these things are.much better.but again moving in the right direction.

Made a faux pas this morning as couldn't do my cycle as had parked the SL in that side of the garage. Going to finish work soon though and move it back to get the bike in pace. Then I can do my 30 mins cycle after work.

All winners today boys
