We are bang on schedule to break the 200,000 posts mark at Xmas.

Just so you know how this compares:
SM: 193,000
ML: 165,000
MF: 63,000

I dont think there are any other English speaking ones, any other foreign or global Maserati forums to compare???

Keep up the great work, not even 3 years old yet, where ML and MF have a good 10 years under their belts each.

I think anyone would agree, that when looking through the forums when just starting out on their Maserati forum adventure, SM quite clearly came across as helpful, friendly, down to earth and with a real community.

Well done Matt and all the team.

Being a Newbie this does seem to be the most helpful Maser forum i have found to date, a bit like one of the Alfa ones I frequent

Matt, Loz et al - a simple reason for the popularity: this is one quality forum. I have been re-reading some of the older threads and the quality of advice is awesome. Some of the humour is a little dodgy.

Here's to breaking the 200k barrier.

I agree with all of the above.
The information that is readily available and the willingness of all to assist is .............bloody marvellous.

Great, thanks for the feedback guys.

I think the reason it does so well is that it is run by members and not money men.

Ok, we get a bit from advertising now, but this is simply to run the server, and the constant updates and fixes. Fortunately, I run a web company so Trev (Web Monkey) is on hand during the working week to sort these things.

The forum always has, and continues to work on the simple principles of enthusiasm, well meaning advise, friendly banter and a common respect for all posters. It makes creating a community so much easier and rewarding, and the post count would suggest we're on the right track.

Long may it continue...............

Hi guys,

This thread is timely, because as a new member I was wondering how this great forum came about and how long it has been running, I now know long it has been going, but none of the history. Matt can you please enlighten us newbies :).

Thanks

Ross
