My mother is from Glasgow, so I have a big family up there. Was visiting a couple of weeks ago, it was bloody freezing!

The matriarch of my godmother’s family was from Giffnock, heaven forbid if you said she was from Glasgow. She’d get her daughter to put her Aldi chocolates in a Waitrose bag in case any of the other residents saw it.

Sturgeon is a true politician two-faced until the end, the last independence vote was once in a lifetime and she is still here so next one should be when she's dead. Also the SNP only got 1.2m votes but 48 seats, even the LD got 3 times that and only got 11 seats, even if you look at the Scottish electorate the SNP only got 25% of the vote.

So if she asks, you know what the answer should be

worse defeat than Michael foot and lost areas that have been labour since 1920's , good riddance to JC
Too right good riddance, at least Michael Foot wasn't a total 'c u next tuesday' like JC.
JC was all for sticking up for the downtrodden but would never criticise Iran and their disregard for human rights, the man was a kin menace along with his sidekick McDonnell and the gormless Abbott.

time out, some lovely jugs for my titi loving colleagues;)

My wife and I went to manchester on the train on thursday , about 5pm , it was full of people obviously going to parties, we were sat at a table for four , one stop in this woman about 45 got on and sat opposite me with the most fantastic cleavage in a dress that was really struggling to hold them in.
I did get a kick under the table when she sat down :D

So, cars.

What's the considered opinion of the forum on the impact that the election result and Britain's eventual exit from the EU will have on the kind of cars we enjoy buggering about in?

Was it not 45% of the vote in Scotland though?

Still not the majority Allan. Yet again. And more a move from disastrous leadership from Labour in Scotland if you look at who the biggest losers were. You must admit that had Ruth Davidson and Kezia Dugdale still been around, the move would not have been quite to strong.

It’s pretty much the same percentage of the vote that the Tories got, they got the votes by being a credible 4th option. We haven’t got that in England. We need a mildly liberal, middle of the road 4th party that appeals to all without being offensive and enshrines genuine English values. I think we should instigate the Vicar’s Tea Party.

The extraordinary thing here is not that she was wearing two left shoes. Because she wasn't

The extraordinary thing is that this photo is faked. Widely debunked as such, but still being ignored:

https://skwawkbox.org/2019/12/12/racist-tories-photoshop-odd-shoes-onto-labours-abbott/

In fact, hasn't it been discussed here before on this thread?

NB I don't think it's racist, or was put about by tory liars.

The thing I can’t get my head round is whether the original post was a fake or the skwakbox post a fake. The photo was published in many national papers after the skwakbox article. Surely they’d have checked it out.

I'd guess Skwakbox was kosher. The photo looks pretty much spot on, to me
