Lovin' those timber lintols, beautiful beams and solid stone walls Lavazza!! How old is your cottage?.... Oh, nice tree!
The oldest part dates back to the 16th Century (Farmstead). Pleased you like it. There's barely a straight angle in the house, but it's full of character.Lovin' those timber lintols, beautiful beams and solid stone walls Lavazza!! How old is your cottage?.... Oh, nice tree!
I am a building Surveyor/Project Manager but I have a particular interest in historic and listed buildings. I'm guessing yours is listed??!!...... We live in a 18th century old farm hands cottage, luckily not listed but in a conservation area so it was a PITA to get planning for an extension!! I would love to see some external photos of yours! The oldest part dates back to the 16th Century (Farmstead). Pleased you like it.
