A bit late today an early start in the garage. Fulvia and Giulietta packed with all their spares, washed and ready to be delivered to their short term homes at a local storage facility. Weather clearing up nicely for an afternoon relaxing in the garden with a beer or three ;)

Er... 'morning'. Back darn sarf after a cracking weekend in York, via Lincoln, to see Crud the Youngest. He's been chucking cricket balls round at the Cricket World Cup for the warm-ups in the nets and was very pleased with himself, so we fed him, gave him booze and went on our way.

This weekend I have learned that setting Waze to avoid motorways makes for far better and less stressful journeys. Highly recommended.

Thanks...noted re Waze.

...321 miles and 5:15 motorway or 7:15 and 290 miles.

Motorway!

Yeah, it’s motorway for the win.

We had a superb run back today. Until 5 miles from home with a dual carriageway closed due to a nasty smash involving a ford Escort. Until then we had passed unhindered through strange and magical places, with weird names such as Boston and Prickwillow.

Morning all, invoicing first then a couple of sites in east London later. A bit weepy this morning as it is six years tomorrow I lost my dad, I still have things I’d like to ask him, I miss his wisdom.

Have fun all...

Morning everyone!
Newton, that's sad indeed, but you clearly garnered rather a lot of wisdom from him as you're (usually) a wise man.
Well that was a cracking weekend! New car and a trip to Paris and Muse at the Stade de France with MLC.
From Holyhead I'd rarely use the A55... A5 is stunning and it's a route I was driven at least twice every school holiday whilst growing up to visit my Nain & Tide on Angelsey. I hadn't been on it for several years before I could drive and now, the few times I've driven it myself, I instinctively know the road. I's a great one.
Mental health first aider training for me today - this should be very interesting!

Newton certainly miss my Dad lost him whilst I was in NZ.
Constantly thankful for all he taught me and leading me into the Automotive World.
Have my own private moments to remember all the Good times with him.

Morning all. Office today, aching after a 65 mile bike ride yesterday that included 4000 ft of climbing, which is 1000 more than Ride London in 3 weeks!
So I think I'm prepared! :p:p:p

We'll see in 3 weeks I guess.
