For someone who has only ever bought cars with cash, this thread is an eye opener.

I'm just off to look at what Mercedes can offer me for a new work horse!

Share then, wonder when the penny will drop that they can't just keep building cars, spamming out cheap and then dump, eventually everyone's cash to lose per car will have run out.

Just go to any Merc dealer and look at what used cars they have and then look at the finance deals.
Was pleasantly surprised!

My local online isn't brilliant and when I popped in once they gave me the opinion I wasn't there type of client TBH.

Looks great Robert, would rather be doing that instead of sitting in front of 2 screens wishing I wasn't here.
Good work.

The DB9 has a subtle presence, rather announcing politely that it is has arrived whereas a Bentley Continental kicks the door in and screams "I'm Here!!!"

Yeh, looks great. I'd be tempted to take the DB9 badge off the back and make it symmetrical. My mild OCD would see a badge on one side only, either one on each side or none at all. Weird, I know.

I entirely removed the M badges off my z4mcoupe because i) they are made of utter rubbish plastic ii) lots of Ebayers add M badges to their 318i iii) BMW has diluted the brand by adding M to every version of all their cars and finally, iv) it didn't need an M badge for people that know to know that it was a full fat version. If you know, you know, if you don't...

I'm off to the psychiatrist.....

Same when I bought my used one in March. I went else where as the deal the dealer could give wasn't even close. Lots can happen in 9 months though I suppose.

So, in laymans terms, with £80k cash, what can I get and what am I going to loose in two years?

Ferrari/Lambo...tempt me!

Would have liked to add Maserati to the above list but they dont offer anything I would want :(

You can't take the DB9 badge off the back, if you did, people wouldn't know which model you have for they all look the blinking same!

Anything you bloody well want with that kind of deposit. The question is, do you want a final payment hanging over you in a few years?

You'd look good in a Hurracan.
