Nearly there boys. Amazing effort.

I'm heading to Poole on Thursday for an early Friday ferry across for my ride across Normandy. I hope you two haven't used all the good weather tokens.

Just read this thread from start to finish (slow day in the office...) you're doing an outstanding job Matt, well done!

Keep charging Matt and don't lose him Benny..!! Tell teddy he is cool and get him to ask Matt why his bike in the photos's is almost always on the back of the car..?? All that excercise, you will obviously be like a whippet when you get back Matt and Benny, well he will have a right old beer gut I guess..??

Day 11/12 .....done! It was pretty ok today and the 70 odd miles didn't cause too much concern. I've got 695 miles out of this tank of diesel so far but it will need filling tomorrow. The air-con is still working well and the car is behaving itself. Meanwhile Matt is still cycling. Teddy's behaviour is going downhill rapidly now and we can't finish too soon. It is clear beer doesn't 'scratch that itch' any more and we can guess who his supplier is, can't we Zag! (#351).

Well done Matt final push and then it will be all over and a great effort for a good cause.

Teddy on the other hand is following a well trodden path, soon he will have earned an invite to the other SM expedition to France in June
