Remember all to bring something for the food bank which you will give in at the gate I believe.....

Getting excited now and it will be great to catch some old friends and meet some new ones.........My two boys are beside themselves with excitement....

Andy we've got raffle tickets and cash box as mentioned.
See you tomorrow (or Saturday) Cheers Blu

All please read the below...Just some bits...

Bruntingthorpe is at the following postcode - LE17 5QS. Google Maps shows this Bath Lane entrance perfectly.
Petrol is at LE9 6QD. Make sure you bring your sheet of paper, if possible a tin of food as a donation and if possible a spec sheet for your window. You get in for free.

On the Saturday, the briefing for myself and Mark will be at 8.30 (ish!) so we will brief you just before 9am when it starts.

Last year we had a shed load of us on the gate this year we will need to comply like the rest which means 6 cars at time. ONce you have had enough you move out of the gate for someone else to get on. Think we should have a good selection of six cars for the first stint so to show off what we have to the punters to drag them in. We can decide once we are there.

When we all get there and this applies to any late comers we will all park somewhere on the grass behind the Maserati gate gazebo. Need to then walk over to gate 7.
When Mark and myself get back from the briefing, will will brief you and hand out six lanyards to the six starters.
If you have not done the event before, can you jump in with one of the six for their warm up laps. If you do not get a lap, let me know. Want to make sure everyone know the track before they go our for their first run if possible.

Every member of the public needs to purchase a raffle ticket, pay, sign the book and then queue up. When the track stops for lunch we can pre-sell tickets to everyone in the queue so they do not have to queue again.
IN the afternoon at first we then set up two queues, one for the pre-sold and one for the after lunch tickets.

The drivers (six) will wait for a llanyard, drive off the grass onto the track, do a warm up lap and then pull into our gate (7) and collect a passenger. You then join the queue, wait to be ok'd to go (as trucks cross our path) and then proceed briskly to do one lap and then come back again for a new passenger. For small children (at their parents discression) if you have booster seats please bring them but not essential. Some people ask to go out with their kids in the rear. Again, this is ok.
By all means weigh up each customer and go at a speed that is not going to scare them. Also, keep an eye on your temperatures and fuel. When you want to come in, if possible, give me a laps notice, hand in your llanyard and then drive back onto the grass to cool off. Please do not leave a llanyard locked in your car.
If you are waiting to go out, let me know and I will let you know when someone is coming in. Keep an eye on fuel and leave in plenty of time to fill up. le9 6qd is around 8 miles from Bruntingthorpe. YOu can bring spare with you if you have the proper petrol can.

The gate numbers in order, going from left to right as you approach the track are.....
Gate 1 AC Cobra
Gate 2 Lotus
Gate 3 Subaru
Gate 4 Vauxhall VX220
Gate 5 Auto Adrenalin
Gate 6 GTROC
Gate 7 Maserati
Gate 9 Help for hero's
Gate 10 Sporting bears
Gate 11 midshires
Gate 12 GTM

Important for those going to the Hinckley Island Hotel today - I've got them to reserve the VIP car park for the Sports Maserati cars. As you drive into the hotel entrance it's the first car park on the right and should be signposted. See you all there later. I'm mid-cleaning!

Flat b****y battery! Can you believe it (yes I know you can).
Family all loaded up and just a sad warring sound at the turn of the key.
Waiting for AA. If I do actually get to the hotel, could someone bring some jump leads in case there is problem in the morning?
I think I will have to invest in my own pair when I get a moment.
