Real men can manage a full pint RobQUOTE]
On a good day I've been known to neck two! But only of real beer. Not that Boddingtons shite or whatever it is gets served oop north.
Oops Adam, Boddingtons is Lancashire = wrong coloured rose!
Real men can manage a full pint Rob, not half a pint and a load of froth!
I like to wind them up in Yorkshire when they pour a pint I ask "Do you think you could squeeze a scotch in there for me?" "Oh yes love no problem." comes the reply... "Well fill the bloody thing up then!!!"
Right coloured rose, never venture east of the pennines there are some strange folk there. Not sure Boddies is the best of Northern brews but when right it is better than the dishwater that some Southerners call beer
There's a lot of crappy beer anywhere but yesterday lunchtime I had a pint of Adnams Southwold bitter sat in a pub by the river Deben with some colleagues over from Amsterdam and really couldn't have faulted it.
Agree with that totally... the only good thing about Boddingtons was the ads featuring the rather luscious Mel Sykes... (appropriate image to follow)
Lots of those available Adam; I just don't want Matt kicking my ar$e over too much flesh on the forum... How about this one:
