Good friends of mine have their own motoring website in Scotland which is growing quickly, as an alternative to PH and the like. They've just launched their merchandise page with some tasteful items. Nothing over the top.

https://www.tartantarmac.com/shop/

I can speak to them about suppliers etc? You may also find that a couple of the founders are visitors here.....Angelus, where are you?

We do lots of friendly events together and the banners etc are always around. Perhaps going down the route of an online shop would raise a few ££ for SM Towers, which can subsequently be wisely invested at bars around Europe.

Instead of just the usual bhp, torque, top speed etc, we should also include loudness and owners ability to drink...

I know for sure I'm at the bottom of that list, but such a wealth of choice for the top slot!

Really? I can't drink alcohol at all. Nothing. 0.5% 'alcohol free' is too high.

Ah right, hadn't realised Urby was quite so amusingly susceptible. A sip of wine and I'm in hospital - there's nothing funny about it at all.

Another idea would be Llandow or Bruntingthorpe lap time...
For those who can't drink (for medical reasons) to redeem themselves... Urby would still be bottom though...
So for Urby, amount of F1 pump relay changes....

Surely I am even slower than UM on laps?

apart from newton's front wings there wasn't anything promoting sportsMaserati at Newby Hall , some of those banner flags either end of the cars would have been good but then I suppose it's getting them there that's the problem.

Not really tricky - the Maserati one I took to Brunty was literally the size of an umbrella when dismantled for transport. They could be posted for a couple of quid.

Most of the flagpoles for banners and the like break down quite easily.

I will be taking our groups Le Mans flagpole this year in the Spyder sadly it will be flying an Alfa Romeo flag although I might try and source a decent Maserati flag to join it

47 Chevy Presenters.jpg

I had made some leaflet presenters to put in front and behind my Chevy when we go to the shows, I need to alter them so they are a little higher and go in the ground easier, to accompany them I had made some banners that mount on retractable fishing poles and are secured to the ground by driving over the supports, unfortunately my sign writer didn't make the platforms big enough and will be modifying them, so will let you have pictures when they are complete,

That does look nice

One of the reasons I like Maseratis is they aren't outlandish compared to the competition , on the high street they really stand out but at shows such as newby they look quite ordinary and attract little attention

I bet that attracted some attention

I've even seen a copper coloured one.
