Before I forget, guys if I sent you an invoice with the shipping fees and you have worked it out with Chris just pay the invoice minus the shipping. If that doesn't work and you pay it I will refund the shipping fees and we can mule Chris down! We are trying to be careful with him though. Each set weighs approximately 3 lbs. So Chris that will give you a guesstimate of weight and etc.

You have only made covers for the rear lower ball joints? Are you contemplating the rear upper, and front lower too? I use self amalgamating tape on my joint covers (none are split or perished i tape up the new ones as well) and this seems to hold back the deterioration, but replacement covers for them all would be excellent. I have just replace the tie rods so don't need them, but will take any ball joint covers you have for sure.

Davy yes they fit both rear uppers/lowers. Please just PM me and I can send you an invoice. I haven't looked into the front lowers because they are more a traditional ball joint that I think I could find a regular manufacturer that makes one. I need to check into it to make sure.

Okay guys I wanted to follow with a quick update! I have been staggering shipments pretty well me thinks!

I mass ordered the new V-gate Obd 2 bluetooth scanner that looks like the photos below. For the guys that ordered the ball joint dust covers and the tie rod ends from me I decided to just ship you one with your packages free of charge, you owe me nothing. If you ordered tie rods from me before and ordered just the dust covers this time. I didn't forget about you. You also will have one, yep free of charge, shipping is on me. One caveat for guys who ordered the tie rods from me before, and you are just getting dust covers. I probably won't include the box because I am trying to keep the shipping at $14.00usd for First class international for you.

Guys I am getting all your orders out staggering them in the place they were requested. I'm also putting off the conversation with FD to keep with my word to you guys.

This blue tooth dongle works with torque pro, or a lap top with the disc that's included in the box. If you up-load that disc on a flash drive and you have a surface pro, or similar tablet you can use that as well if it's bluetooth capable. If you can transfer the data on that disc in anyway shape or form to another device with blue tooth, and that device doesn't have the disc drive, you still can use the dongle. The device just must have blue tooth to pair with the dongle. Unfortunately the Iphone I don't think will work. The pad will if you can upload the disc to it, via flash drive etc

It's a cheap disc library but it still should pull up all the generic codes for you. I use torque pro that I paid for and I can pull up a lot of data with this dongle. Obviously not gear box codes and such but still you won't need another hand held scanner.

Additionally, this one turns off after 30 minutes of non-use. This is important because if you are absent minded like me. The other ones continue to drain your battery if you leave it in the car. This one actually shuts off.

If you feel I have forgotten you please PM me.

Awww **** guys, no worries. I wanted to give you guys something that would help you with your Mas. ownership as well as just car ownership in general. Why not mass order these when I know it's a tool people can you use? I mean it's one of the first things I recommend people have when they ask questions on the forums when they have a CEL?
Heck you guys are supporting something that was really hard to put together, and I would have lost my butt in had there been no interest. I would of just had these mass. ordered ball joint covers, and tie rod parts all over. The good thing is I guess even before this thread everyone was already looking for the same thing I needed. So in short I APPRECIATE you guys!

You are a shining example of what makes forums like this worthwhile Craig!
If I can find some way to get you a bottle of our national drink (a malt, not blended) I will!
The only issue is things electronic are foreign to me and I lost you on dongle or thereabouts. I will find a 7 year old to explain and sort it for me though!
Bolting bits of metal together I understand! Lol
Sincere thanks.

Hi Craig,
Just need a photo of the GS outside Fenway and that would have all bases covered.
Opening game just started.
Go Red Sox!

Guys I wanted to clarify the difference between the tie rod kit and the ball joint dust covers. The ball joint dust covers aren't the same as the Rose joint dust covers. I've included photos below. Also I really appreciate the responses! If you are confused about the dongle just ask any 15 year old! LOL......seems like us older guys are being humbled by the younger!

This is what the tie rod kit looks like:

It's side by side with the OEM tie rod in the rear of the car.

Here's another picture of the tie rod kit:

The ball joint dust covers are these:

This is the upper control arm but notice how I have the ball joint open in this picture with no dust cover on it. Additionally there's an upper and lower ball joint per side:

Here is a ball joint with the brand new dust cover on it:

Here's what an uncovered rear ball joint looks like without dust covers.

It would be an honor to carry out that particular task :)
