Happy Easter everyone! Sorry slept in late I will get to answering these questions in order.

First maybe the most important question is when do I need to know by? I need to know by this week because we are finalizing all the details of the agreement. I am thinking by Tuesday or Wednesday.

Also I have re-ordered more parts to get the kits together I had four left which will be shipped out through the week. I am going to stagger the shipments so they don't all go out on the same day less they think I am the most gracious missionary to the UK.

Let me go up and read the rest of the questions and get them answered.

What's involved with the kits and durability........are they durable?

I used to include 6 stainless steel washers per kit and realized that these have a greater degree of off set than the OEM rod and was unnecessary. Now I include just two washers one that goes behind the Rose joint and in-front of the ball joint lock nut.

Durability...........great question.

First the company I use for the tie rod sleeve (which honestly is the most important part of the kit) put a million mile limited warranty on the sleeve. There isn't a more durable part on the Maserati that I know of. I think we have spoken indepth about this before. That sleeve isn't built for the Maserati it was built for the dynamic load forces of the front of a fully loaded one ton truck. I am confident of it's ability to last the life of the vehicle.

Heim Joint/ Rose joint. This part of the kit isn't anything new and I'm sure you guys in racing/ 4 wheeling have seen them before. I wanted the best one they made period. They were deemed to be an ultra high performance end. Applicable for racing and marine applications.

small tid bit about them:

The body is machined with a significant groove going all the way around the interior of the body. The ball is then inserted into the machined slot and a Teflon®/Kevlar® material is injected, serving as a liner to keep dirt and debris out, while also lubricating the rod end. In addition to providing added strength, the injection moulded race also won’t “pound out” like traditional PTFE (Teflon®) liners, increasing the longevity of your rod ends. The body is heat treated and is made from Chrome Molybdenum for excellent strength and corrosion resistance.

Craig,
I am a cynical old git and it takes a lot to impress me these days but I have to say you do in shed loads!
Not sure what you do for a living but you are wasted.
I hope you are making something out of this work because the alternative is a lot more expensive and not nearly as good quality.
As they say in these parts "lang may your lum reek"!
Sure google will translate that for you!! lol
All the best.

@NeedaMaser not sure I understood all of it but I do appreciate the kind words! LOL......to be honest I'm a small business owner that turns wrenches most the time. I have a flair for the exotic so I have a Spyder and GranSport. I love the cars and would like to keep them on the road. The only way to do this is to find aftermarket alternatives. It's very difficult, and a laborious task to be sure. If I told you the quotes for the molds to make those rear ball joint covers it would gag a grown man. I've been extremely blessed to find the parts I have through a lot of research and development. Exotics are like cake and ice cream. I also work on Ford Diesels, Mercedes, BMW, and whatever car is dropped off in my drive way.
