I was referring to zags comment. Rather than answering the question.
The answer to the question is as far as i know the bristle cone pine as Allandwf said. I just chipped in with the place and rough age being California and plus 4000 years old.

So before 2013 the oldest tree was Methuselah a 4,845 Great Basin bristlecone pine in the White Mountains in California.
Then researchers found another of the same species in the same area that is 5,063yrs old.
There are forests in south central Utah where the colony is estimated to be around 80,000 yrs old!! But not individual trees.
